Jane Richards
I am a marine biologist who has worked in marine conservation roles for the last 13 years. I was the Estuary Environment Officer for Fowey Harbour Commissioners between 2001-2005, giving me a real insight into the local area, it's wildlife and management, and a broader view of the issues affecting this special part of the coastline.
My family and I love going to Par Beach and I am very excited to have the opportunity to be directly involved in it's management, ensuring the beach and it's wildlife can be enjoyed by the local community for years to come. I currently work for Insight Marine Projects Ltd, based in Bodmin, so am unable to resist the pull of the sea!
