I have lived in Polmear since August 1999, it was love at first sight! Having spent so much time on and around Par Beach I am keen to be a part of the FoPB to put something back into the community. I used to be an analytical research chemist and then a network/UNIX I.T. person in a previous life, which seems to have landed me the role of chief website geek for FoPB - as and when I can.
I’m as keen as everyone else to see the beach area cared for and used in the best possible way. I want to see the wildlife and habitats managed carefully, balancing their needs with the needs of a community and visitors who use and enjoy such a wonderful space.
