Plants
Phil Hunt has provided us with an extensive plant list which covers his plant records from 2000 to 2009. It lists 409 species that he has identified within the Par Beach/Local Nature Reserve (boundaries shown on the map on the Geographyaphy page).
The plant list has been typed up and is here as a PDF document, click the link below to view it, it will open in a new browser window.

Birds
We keep a tally of all the bird species spotted on our patch - the beach, pool and the bits inbetween. Please contact us if you want to help us with all things birds, or if you have a question you'd like to ask us about them.
Trevor Moore keeps an extensive website with his and others sightings of birds locally and kindly lets FoPB plunder this information (and the fantastic photos) whenever we want. Visit St Austell Baywatch
Nigel Climpson, local nature enthusiast and photographer, has some outstanding photographs on his blog site at Natural World.
